This time, it's for the Chinese Psychic Lady Maria Mitsumi Platine "Ojyousama" Tendou.
These are her main influences:
-Carrie White (Carrie): Stephen King is one of the best Horror novelists ever. His stories, full of suspense, are very famous, that the also arrived to another media, mainly as films; among the best Stephen King's Novels films we have Creepshow (1982), Christine (1983; John Carpenter (Halloween, Escape From New York, The Thing)), Cujo (1983), Children Of The Corn (1984 (curious, but in this year, Linda Hamilton also had to escape from a killer cyborg in another horror film XD)), The Dead Zone (1983), The Running Man (1987), Cat's Eye (1985), Stand By Me (1986), Pet Sematary (1989), Misery (1990), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), The Green Mile (1999), and obviously The Shining (1980; Stanley Kubrick (the best horror film ever, and, the best film based in a book by Stephen King (no matter what thinks Stephen King...)), and also, this film, which's based in the opera prima of Stephen King. This story had 3 adaptations, being the best the original 1978 film, directed by Brian De Palma (Dressed To Kill, The Untouchables, Mission Imposible, Scarface), starring John Travolta, William Kat, Amy Irving, Nancy Allen (A.K.A. Officer Anne Lewis in Paul Verhoeven's RoboCop (1987)), and Sissy Spacek in the main role. Well, this girl was the main influence for Lady Ojyousama. Maria is a young woman with telekinectic powers, and also she was bullied at a beginning, making her wish to murder to anybody who bullies her. However, the main difference is that Maria is possessed by a Shinigami Goddess (Shinigamis are the Gods of Death in the japanese mythology). But, also, when Maria got pissed off by a bunch of assholes, she enraged too much to the point of being psychotic, and using her powers to burn the precinct, and kill the assholes who bullied her at the precinct, saving also Matsumaru-kun and his friends (like in the emblematic prom scene in Carrie).
-Fummi Kanno (Devil Survivor): Shin Megami Tensei is one of the best RPG games sagas ever. I liked very much the Persona and Devil Survivor series. For create Lady Ojyousama, I was influenced also by this games. Her main premise is this: troubled by the predicted downfall of the world, and the incidents happened in Pyongyang, Santiago de Chile, London, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Federal City, Vienna, Lhasa, Rio de Janeiro, and Istanbul, a Chinese reporter begins investigating a spirit medium experiment being conducted at the labs of the University Zhìhuì De Tóunǎo of Beijing. The experiment is aimed towards reaching the long deceased Nostradamus in hopes of shedding light on his prophecies for the end of the world. Unfortunately, the experiment fails to make contact with the French prophet, and the thing get worse with the presence of a sinister Red Mist hanging over Beijing, and the presence of sinister devils, which menaces with anihillate the humankind in 7 days, where will happen Solar and Lunar Eclipses (one after 12 hours of the other). So, she must face them, and face to the culprits of the incident, the Axis of Evil (under their Chinese Branch). The devil invasion premise is infulenced by this games. Also, Maria is very colder, and she can come off as rude and cold due to her disinterest in dealing with people. However, the only difference is Maria commonly smiles...
-Kim Possible: Tendou-chan has influences from many of my most favourite fictional heroines, and, the heroine of Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle isn't an exception. I always liked this series, so, this beautiful, smart, brave, and cool heroine is another influence for Tendou-chan (aside that I inspired from the style of these cartoonists for learning to draw female characters XP). Tendou-chan is a girl who has to deal with the trouble of having a normal life and being a crime-fighter at the same time; however, among all her partners from the University of Beijing and the Medical Center, she is very popular, and an excellent student. Sure of herself, smart, and asertive, she is also somewhat perfectionist, and can be very demanding for herself and those around her. Also, she's very agile at combat. Also, she thinks there's "nothing she can't do".
-Souji Tendou/Kamen Rider Kabuto: Again, the influence of my most favourite anime artist, Shotaro Ishinomori, can't be forgotten. I liked his stories, not only to their extraordinary heroes, and the contrasts between characters designs; also, some of his works, despite being superhero stories, had also suspense and/or horror. This trait was seen in the Kamen Rider Series (until Kabuto in the Heisei Era). And now we're talking about Kabuto series, let me say you that, for create Ojyousama, I had as a main influence to "The Man Who Walks The Path Of Heaven, For Rule Over Everything". How can be a male character an influence for a female character? Well, "My Grandmother Said This: No matter the gender, even for create a female character, you can take as an influence to the opposite gender". Maria is a mysterious, quiet 27-year old lady who often seems to follow Greek and Buddhist-like philosophies of peace. She often spouts amazingly appropriate zen-like phrases she supposedly learned from her adoptive grandmother. She also often likes doing a 'point to the sky' pose, commonly when she presents herself, or after resulting victorius in battle. Despite having many talents (from cooking to hairstyling to excelling at various sports to the extent that she can handle entire teams alone), she is usually uninterested in pursuing anything until her moment of fighting comes. However, because of her abilities and outlook, combined with her talent of being a step ahead of those around her, Maria is rude, cocky and exceedingly arrogant. This was the primary reason for why she had no friends in the first place. However, this unlikable personality holds back the caring emotions she has for others. Also, as an additional data, being surgically altered, Ojyousama can control her speed, and the time (somewhat similar to the Clock Up effect); also, she's a fighter who has excellence in speed level. Also (altought this isn't too much important), Ojyousama's last surname (Tendou) is as a tribute to this hero.
-Francoise Arnoul/Cyborg 003 (Cyborg 009): Now we're talking about Ishinomori-san characters, I want to mention that Tendou-chan is influences of some of Ishinomori's heroines. For starter, I'll mention the heroine from Ishinomori-san's opera prima. Being surgically altered, she can detect sounds from far away, and her eyes come with telescopic and X-ray vision, making her a walking enemy radar. She is also a peaceful and gentle girl who usually plays a supporting role for the Rebels. She is very motherly, which is why she is often seen taking care of a little wild boy named Hareta Onodera (who sees Tendou-chan as a mother). Originally a very shy girl, she learns to warm up to her Rebel teammates.
-Peggy Matsuyama/MomoRanger (Himitsu Sentai GoRanger): Now, I'll talk about the influence of the first Pink Sentai Heroine. Like MomoRanger, Tendou-chan is an expert in medicine and she also wrked for the University of Beijing as as a chemical analyst and special weapons engineer specializing in explosives. She also had equestrian training. She can attack using her earrings as bombs, launching shurikens, and a mirror that reflects blinding pulses of light and enemy projectiles (altought she commonly preferes repelling enemy projectiles kicking them).
-Yuko Murakami/Poitrine Kamen (Bishoujo Kamen Poitrine): Another influence for Tendou-chan is this Kamen Rider-like heroine from a mahou shoujo series created by Ishinomori-san. Cheerful and optimistic, Tendou-chan is a girl with a strong sense of justice. One day she stopped by an abandoned shrine to pray for the new school year, she accidently breaks the bell and releases the shrine's goddess. The goddess possessed her, giving her psychic superpowers (despite being unware of Tendou-chan was surgically altered).
-Kiriko Shijima (Kamen Rider Drive): Seriously, my friends...Altought I like the Kamen rider series, but there's an only thing which dissapoints me about the saga: there aren't too much female Riders, and the few ones are from some few series. However, I can mention that the main heroes are always assisted by beautiful and sympathetic heroines (which even some of them can be Kamen Riders). One of my most favourite Rider heroines is the friend of Shinnosuke Tomari/Drive. Like Kiriko-chan, Tendou-chan is a beautiful, but scary and almost robot-like stoic young girl, which can be somewhat like a stalker, due to constantly taking notes of Matsumaru-kun's habits and meticulously counting them. She is shown to be very athletic despite her looks and also has the habit of dragging Mmatsumaru-kun back to work when she finds him slacking off, often having him in handcuffs when she does so.
-Chi-Chi (Dragon Ball): Ok, maybe we could remember her as a nagging, hysterical, whiny, grumpy, screaming, somewhat neurotic, and overprotective mother, who always exaggerates things...However, in a beginning, when she and Goku were teenagers, during the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, she was more sympathetic in personality (aside having a beautiful hair look XP). Her hairstyle during her teenage era was an influence for Maria's design. Also, she is quite tomboyish, and is very agile in martial arts (altought Ojyousama's strength is similar to the strength of Goku).
-Misato Katsuragi (Neon Genesis Evangelion): Evangelion is one of the best anime series ever. My most favourite character is Misato, the boss of NERV, who's also one of the most sexy anime girls ever!!! 
Ojyousama is also cheerful, smart, and sarcastic. However, she's also kindful, and lonely, due to she lost her former boyfriend, and her father, in a terrorist attack. Sometimes, she wants also get the companion of the men, making her also extroverted. Also, due to her age (27 years old) and her personality, Matsumaru sees her as a mother; this trait is somewhat similar to the relationship between Shinji and Misato (Matsumaru=Shinji; Ojyousama=Misato).
-Trixie Tang (The Fairly OddParents!): Despite the situation of overexplotation and flanderization is suffering the Butch Hartman's series, I must confess that is still one of my most favourite Nicktoons. Honestly, one of my most favourite characters in this series is this girl who's loved-by-one and hated-by-others. She's also another influence for Tendou-chan. Like Trixie, she's egocentric and arrogant, but cheerful. She considers that, due to "all girls are equal beautiful", she's more beautiful, and due to this, she wants to get the attention of the boys sometimes, as she hates being alone, to the point of near mental breakdown, and cries for attention. Despite her egocentrism, she's actually a tomboy, and also a kindhearted person whose only wish is somebody who can like her by her true personality.
-Wendy Testaburger (South Park): I'm a huge fan of this cartoon, due to its acid humour where the society and the culture are constantly spoofed. Part of the influence for the world of The Apocalypse Hour is from this cartoon. Well, also, another of the influences of Tendou-chan is the main female character in the series, who, honestly, she's another of my most favourite characters among the kids, alongside Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Tweek, Butters, Clyde, Craig, Demian, Timmy, and Jimmy. Well, Tendou-chan is an optimistic and intelligent character whose stubbornness and occasional jealousy sometimes get the best of her; she is typically portrayed as nice, feminine, and liberal in nature. Generally, she provides a voice of reason for the group (despite sometimes, this trait makes her rivalize with Quatermaine). She is generally friendly to others and seems well-liked at school, but she is unwilling to let her beliefs be compromised by popularity. Also, one of the things she hates too much is when somebody makes sexist jokes (like when Wendy get enraged and brawled Cartman in an episode (frankly, I think Cartman deserved this...)). However, sometimes, she could get somewhat insane and jealous when it's about handsome boys, to the point of even being somewhat a yandere (if you want to know what does means this word, I'm leaving you as a homework).
-Ayumi Tachibana (Famicom Detective Club): One of my most favourite Nintendo-cult characters is this beautiful girl from a Japan-only mystery game. Like Ayumi Tachibana, Tendou-chan is a girl who fights in order to avenge the murder of a friend of her, and find the culprit. She started as a shy girl; however, she'll being more brave with the time.
-Misty (Pokémon): Now, an influence from Pokémon characters. This time, it's influence from the most favourite girl of the fans. The Tomboyish Mermaid of Cerulean City. Maria can be cheerful and sweet sometimes; however, she can be bad-tempered, to the point of being enraged easily. She is very extreme in most of her moods and can switch between them quickly. She is also picky and sensitive about love. Also, she loves swimming and surfing. However, she has a phobia to the insects (except butterflies and kabuto-beetles), to the point of even screaming so loudly (especially with cockroaches). So, Maria can have a quirky personality sometimes XD.
-Mitsumi (Pokémon DP Adventures): Aside Pokémon Adventures, there were some other good mangas based in the Pokémon games. One of my most favourite is this adaptation of Diamond and Pearl. Here, we meet a more beautiful version of Dawn. This beautiful girl is another influence for Tendou-chan. I inspired by Mitsumi's hairstyle for design Tendou-chan's hairstyle. She's also a responsible girl, but easily bad-tempered and bossy. However, she's cheerful commonly, and she worries much for Hareta, Matsumaru-kun, and other friends of hte North-Korean boy (especially Demian Jeremy Evergreen, Kevin Neumeier, and Claudia Miner).
-Litchi Faye-Ling (BlazBlue): BlazBlue is one of the best fighting games ever, due to their creative premise in story and fighting styles, which also involves weapons use (one per character XD). Litchi Faye-Ling is one of the most beautiful girls in this game (she could even match Chun-Li (Street Fighter) and Mai Shiranui (King Of Fighters) XD). Like her, Maria can fight also controlling her weapons telekinectically (her main weapons are a knife, a fan, and a parasol named as Perfectizer Alexilizer)). Also, she's an expert in combat hand-to-hand, being also very flexible. Aside this, she has as pet an antropomorfic panda plush doll who lives in her brooch which forms her ponytail.
-Platinum (Pokémon): Again, the main designs for Pokémon human characters are an influence for creating my OCs. This time, it's this girl, who's a manga countepart of Dawn. However, unlike the cheerful, self-confident, and calm coordinator Princess from Sinnoh, this version is less cheerful in personality. befor the Devil Incident, Maria was descendant of a rich family from Beijing, which had 200 years of tradition. She's very knowledgable due to she liked read since she was a girl. however, she could be somewhat vain and arrogant in personality. Despite being from Chinese origin, she can also talk very well the French.
